Day 3 Taiwan - Up to the mountain!

From the ground to the top, and back to natures.

We are forced to wake as early as 5.30am. Not because we have a pack schedule, but look...
This is 5.30am
The sun is as bright as... I have no metaphor :)
Rolling bed for about 30 mins more then quickly morning wash up, we head to the street and look for some local breakfast.
The sky is nice and weather is good, I always hate walking in Malaysia but this temperature is perfect!
This is the famous rice ball(饭团). Similar to Onigiri from Japan, but we get to select the fillings we want. It uses the black rice which is high in fibre. We choose the variety flavour(综合) which has little bit of everything, which is recommended by the owner.
There's many local people come bungkus(take out)
I forgot to take the picture of the food, but what I remember is the texture is Q and crispy on the inside. A bit spicy, a bit savoury, a bit sweet, just exploded with flavours. Its very cheap and very filling too.
Let's Cafe - Can be found everywhere in Family Mart
Coffee by press in convenient store, that's just plain awesome for coffee lover like me. Taste ain't as good as those branded CBTL or any, but still worth the price and hang out inside/outside is just very enjoying. The cool breeze, the warm sun and a cup of hot coffee.
Howling's Castle?
This amazing infrastructure is located on the way to Taroko Gorge(太鲁阁) just beside Qing Jing Farm(清境农场). Similar to Malaysia's Bukit Tinggi.
2750 KM above sea level - 13'c
See we smile so happily. I'm forced! The 3 heroes never get cold, while I'm shivering even double layer + natural FAT.
White cloud, where's the land?
I don't understand this
On the way to the TOP, we stop by a small market to get some rest and food and tea and nature's call.
Small market, filled with 人情味(taste of neighbour)
We are here! Top of the... this mountain!
I'm so happy and cold. Lim lala will become icicle soon
Just enjoy the scenery and the group photo.

Unexpected Malaysian Friends!
OK this is amazing. People travels to meet foreigners, we end up meeting our Malaysian friends. Ok we don't know them, but they are under the same schedule, same hotel, same literary, same agency, and most important same country. Some amazing fate.
Even we got back to Malaysia, around mid March I met them again in some Japanese BBQ restaurant, and June I met them again also in some restaurant. They stay east, I stay west, we met.

F4?
These 4 stupid and brave young men are inspired by... :
Who's the boss?
He's the boss. LCW just suddenly said, take photo is plain boring, lets take off cloths in this cold cold weather. I hope he can use this confidence and flexibility in his future. :)
Yes I chickened out again, we got 4-5 days to go, I'm fragile, don't want to take the risk and sick.

Wolf team at the top!
4 x 4 = 8
These photo just bring so much memories back then. Hope to see them again. We shared fun, we shared joy, we shared pain, we shared the spirit of Malaysian.
