Day 2 Taiwan - TaoYuan to TaiChung

Speed of bullet penetrate our taste bud of the beef noodles, blood stain on our tongue.

The next we wake up at as early as 7 am(yup we slept at 2am). Then we just had a simple buffet breakfast provided by the hotel. Yum~
Not much choice, but majority is vege. Diet on first day?
Not sure what's the reason but we took 1 hour to have our breakfast. Too sleepy? Decided to take a walk at the neighbourhood and took some photo on the way.

Local properties agent
After some exploring around the area and get our sim card working, we found a aunty selling Betel Nut(槟榔). Not those Betel Nut girls(槟榔西施) who wears sexy sexy or didn't wear anything at al, we opt for pure and traditional betel nut.
The Legendary Betel Nut
I didn't try it because I've research earlier that it contain drugs. Betel Nuts was traditionally used to keep ones awake, something like caffeine and it can causes cancer if over consume. Yup call me a pussy. More details on here.
Lim lala decided to try one. The signature red coloured tongue.
After this picture was took for like 5 mins, he went to the nearby petrol station's toilet and vomit. Back to hotel he felt dizzy and uneasy stomach. Drugs kicked in. Description might be too graphic so I'll not describe it. You have been warned, take it at your own risk. Also do not swallow the juice, just crew and spit it.

Then we head back to our hotel and pack up, took a cab to the nearest High-speed Railway Station(高铁). TaiChung here we come!
Entrance of the Station
BIG BLACK CLOCK all around the station for the passenger to view the schedule.
Big Black Clock
We arrive early so we just sat down and wait the time pass. Is pretty convenient here as there's bar, food, free wifi, free computer for us to Facebook... or other important matter, free charging port for all electronic devices. Big resting areas, clean toilets, well warmed or air cooled, just perfect. Sadly to say but, this is 100x better than KL Central. Sorry~
Some manly luggage I got. *hint bubble patterned*
NT540 as shown from TaoYuan to TaiChung. Pretty expensive, but it saved alot of time. It might took us hours or even the half the day if we take the normal train.

But just sitting there is not the wolf gang's way of doing things. Our guardian LCW will be look after our luggage, and 3 of us went out to have some cure on our eyes. We never regret leaving the chair.
Huge green field behind the station. Just wow
I try to put as nearly close to my first impression as possible. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
Yup, just like that. The moment we step out the auto sliding door, the scenery just grasp our breath. 3 of us giving the same expression, wow.
We were speechless that time, Lim lala just bring out his camera and start shooting.
40 minutes just standing outside, enjoying the fresh air, the soft sun and the breath taking scenery. Remember it just a train station.
Times up! Better early than sorry, we walked to the platform 30 mins early to avoid missing the train since we are new to this place, allocate some GPS signal not found(our sense of direction) time.

Bye bye Taoyuan
I remember taking this type of train when I was in Shanghai, blazing fast in 300km/h. Nevertheless, same as this train. Woosh!
They offer magazine and catering and vomit bag?
45 minutes later, TAI CHUNG! I felt asleep in the train and is as stable and smooth as the ride it is. Took a cab to our Ming Su(民宿) in Feng Jia(逢甲), just 10 mins drive away to settle our day 2.
Nice town.

Finally our Ming Shu! Our first stay in Ming Shu, felt surprisingly, like a budget motel. Just 10x cleaner and safer.
Our room is so cute!
Room is not huge, but is large enough to sleep.
My Idol(女神) - Michelle Chen(陈妍希) :)
Since our Ming Shu is near to the Feng Jia Night Market(逢甲夜市) which also near to the Feng Jia University, there's lot of cheap and delicious food for the students.
Our first stop is the beef noodles with dumplings. We wanted to try Mr.38, but it looks like just another theme cafe.
Ya Piao is the name of this shop
Just like those Hainan kopi tiam,海南咖啡店(Hainan Coffee Shop) in Malaysia, especially Kepong area, give us the vintage feel of the shop.
Menu are hanged on the wall, just order from the cooking station beside.
We ordered 2 large bowl of beef noodles and a plate of dumplings
The beef is very tender,  and the ramen is very Q(springy) as Taiwan people said.
NOM!
Dumplings are Ok, Dragon-i in Malaysia is much better. But is cheap, 10 dumplings only NTD50.

After our lunch we head back to our Ming Shu and rest for awhile. Charged up and ready for the famous Night Market in Feng Jia!
