Japan Trip - Shinkansen to Shinjuku

Speed of Bullet Train

Upon arriving to Shin-Osaka, we quickly rush out from Haruka platform to find where is the entrance for our Shinkansen. The ticket lady schedule us the train ride is just mere 30 minutes after arrive to Shin-Osaka, and due to the fact we're first timer and just arrive to the land of the rising sun, took us quite some time to locate the correct platform.

Just as planned, we went to the bento vendors to get ourself some bentos. So many choices, we can't read Japanese, can't made up our mind and the Shinkansen is leaving. Intense ; we were battling against time.

Man this look delicous, right on the spot for my hungry tummy. (I've no idea what I've choose, I just pick the price that is reasonable ; first day at Japan, try to control my thirst of spending)

Bento - Chicken Chop with cheese sauce, minced pork and scramble egg. Served with Rice and pickle vegetable.
Lucky for us that the train isn't full. So we can sleep wherever we want.

All the information you need on the train
Funny thing is, after we purchase the bento and rushed to the platform, we were at cargo 16 or something, then we check our ticket, it was cargo 6. We ran along with our luggage to cargo 6 to board in. While running, we can listen to the broadcast and a melody signalling us that the train is going to be taking off soon.

There's an operator in the middle part of the cargo saw us running with our luggage, screaming and chanting, he rose half of the flag without waving down. Apparently he was waiting us to board the train. Then only he wave the flag and smile at us saying 'Arigatou Gozaimasu'(Thank You) after we barely make it. Good service!

Exit to Shinjuku Station
First thing first, call up our friend who was rushing and skipping class from his university to join us. With the pocket wifi we got, we can just easily contact him to locate us. Again, pocket wifi is so useful during travel.

Confusing station
Shinjuku station, one of the largest in Japan, we were lost in the train station, walking around and around to locate the west gate. At the end, our friend just come to us and bring us to store our luggage and start our day.
