A Pie Thing - Very British
Tv-series, movies, travel show which always have a English pie in the scene. Especially the British kind of shows. But fear not, the Pie has landed in Klang Valley @ Damansara Uptown. A Pie Thing that is.

Being a super strategic position, A Pie Thing is very easy to be spot along LDP with its beckoning flashy signboard. Step inside and few glass cabinets of pies, freshly baked presented.

They serve a series of beef, chicken, lamb or even chili with cheese and veges.
Besides savoury pies, they serve a wide selections of chocolate cakes and candy too.

What makes these pies extra special is how they served it. With either gravy, gravy with peas, gravy with mashed potatoes or all of it or even non of it, your choice on how the pie wanted to be. Rm14.90 you get a pie with either one of the toppings with a cold beverage or 'The Mashacre' which cost Rm17.90 for a pie with all the toppings with a cold drink.

However the crust is too soft and thick. All I can taste is just the crust which certainly doesn't combine well with the 'rough texture' of the peas.

Surprising it serve in a very large portion.
A Pie Thing is nonetheless still a new to the market, and fine-tuning these pies is certainly needed. Being one of the pioneer in selling English pie, it certainly a well deserve support.
