Milk Shake at it's finest

A hamburger restaurant featuring retro style American diner - Johnny Rockets finally arrives on its first branch @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. Checker board floor design, with overall white and red definitely eye catchy and appetising. The branch in The Curve is large enough to fit in round 40-50 tables, and despite that we are still having trouble getting a table because it is usually crowded with hungry customers. Especially on weekends, I have to wait approximately 30 minutes for me to get a table for four.

I was being told their milk shake are the best there is, so I order one. I'm not quite a sweet tooth person, but man this milk shake is so good. Creamy, smooth, milky and the vanilla flavour just exploded in your mouth with a chilly touch. However, is still too sweet for my taste.

[TIPS] : Because the milk shake is too sweet for me, I have to suffer the sweetness in my throat till I found 7-Eleven to buy a bottle of water to rinse my throat because they DO NOT serve plain water. Yes, they only sell mineral water on a ridiculous price of Rm5 per bottle. So BRING YOUR OWN WATER.

The Original Hamburger as their slogan said, why would you choose other than 'The Original' burger from their menu.

'The Original'

Juicy beef patties with fresh lettuce, pickles, onion and cheese dressed

with mustard. Garnish with fries and coleslaw. Too much pickle! Yep, the pickle is over taking the beef and other taste of the burger. I have to remove it just to taste beef patties. However the beef patties is so juicy that it makes the bottom part of the bun soggy. The love hate part of this burger.

As for the coleslaw and fries, they live in their standards.

Overall dining experience are OK. Nice environment, nice music selections, awesome milk shake, nice food, nice staff. If you are lucky enough, you might get to experience the famous 'dancing crew' where the staff going to dance around the diners with some 80s hits. Ahem, 'Uptown Girl'.
