Is here, the long awaited Comic Fiesta(CF) 2013 on 21/22 December 2013. One of the largest ACG(Anime Comic Game) event in Malaysia. If you still don't know what Cosplay is, despite the wrecking news few weeks ago with the teenager boy rape-fail-killed cosplayer incident ; Cosplay is known as Costume play, an activity where participants dress up to represent a character they adore. It is a sub-pop culture in Japan inception in Akihabara.

As an ACG lover, we can't resist ourself to attend this event. We even got ourself a 'Official Blogger' pass to ease our coverage. Benefit with such pass is we get to access everywhere. As always, we do have responsibility to not abuse the pass. Respect and self behave always come first.

Enough lecturing, lets get started with the event!

Well we arriving as early as 8am, talking about early bird.
Let me rephrase that.

8am and it is crowded!

Well we arriving as late as 8am, talking about lazy bump. Cosplayers, photopraghers, bloggers, volunteers, crew, even visitors arrive early, que-ing to get the best seat, beat the deals, buy-it-before-gone~

As past experience with many ACG event, Comic Fiesta is out of the league. We truly can define that CF is one of the largest ACG event in Malaysia, every single year the crowd is just amazing. Speaking last year experience of mine, I can't even enter the event hall due to the huge crowd que-ing for ticket.

I strongly recommend to future visitors for such event, please just buy the Early Bird Ticket, totally worth it. If you can't attend event after purchasing the ticket, you can just sell it to others, many people that live outside the City are drooling for the Early Bird Ticket. So reselling is not a problem.

Some chit chatting with the vendors and get to know that they start setting up their booth since Thursday/Friday and they arrive super early to bring in their stuffs.

After a round of pre-opening tour, lets head back out there.

This opening quote is not a joke or made up, the Day 1 que system is just suc..bad! No one is there to inform the Early Bird Ticket holder can go in first, they just que along with the rest with the non-ticket holder.

When I ask the staff where is the Early Bird Ticket entrance, they just told me to que along with the rest first, then when reach the entrance only split it. What? Early morning I heard was non-ticket one line, early bird one line, and that was good. No one know who changed it, might be communication problems. I even see a third line que-ing in from the side. Inefficient!

After having some coffee and breakfast with my friends, then we head back to the event. Guess what, the que is smooth again, great job on getting the system back in line. The que was fast and smooth and organized. Kudos. However, I hope in the future, such issue should be foreseeable and instruct them before the event start.

If you don't know what Oculus is, it is a 3D perspective goggles. You now can play game while wearing this goggles to see a 3D environment by tilting your head, and with the dual high pixle density screen, you actually playing a virtual game just like Sword Art Online. Amazing experience!

Cosplay shouldn't be a bad culture, in fact we should promote it as much as we can. Why? Because it is awesome. We understand that in Asia especially traditional country like Malaysia is a bit difficult to accept but ACG event isn't a bad thing.

Look at those happy people, admiring their super heroes, anime character, and such. Is like a living dream able to take a photo with Batman or Thor or Eren. Cosplay is nothing much but an entertainer, they aren't do for fame or fortune, they did it for the ACG interest just like us.
