Harvest Moon?
After we climbed the mountain, well basically we just relax our butt on the cab and let the machine do all the work but you get it. Just 20 mins driving, we arrived the famous Qing Jing Farm(清境农场).
That blue sky |
As usual, we are lucky that the weather is awesome that day. We were told that it should be raining frequently since is winter, some luck we got.
The nature just overwhelm us. Fresh air that we hardly get in KL, warming sun gently touched your skin and the animals! WE CAN TOUCH THEM!
Fearless sheep, ate in front of us. We can freely touch them too |
Cute little sign warning us do not ride or chase the sheep. |
Spending some quality time with the sheep, we marched to another area to see more sheep!
Sheep is so cute! |
Then we headed down as the directory show us, guess what more sheep!
I can live forever in this place, it just too epic |
I had to do this when I saw a horse standing there.
Oppa gangnam style!! |
This is where the top look of that little animal area, long road! Please prepare a good pair of shoes to withstand the amount of walking in this area. There's highs and lows, exhaust the living soul out of you.
On the pantry/rest station, we saw a sheep drinking from the tap. For 10 mins! How thirsty she was anyway? and furthermost, how she turn on the tap water? Hmm..
Super sheep turn on the tap water and drink it herself for whooping 10 mins |
Notice the shadows of clouds hit on the mountain, some scenery! |
Finally we head to the end of the farm which has a funny looking windmill there.
Cow patterned windmill |
Since we finished the Qing Jing Farm early, and still have time left. We shifted ahead the schedule of visiting the Carton King(纸箱王) and Small Swiss Garden(小瑞士花园).
The first thing caught our eye was this paper carton made stall, which is cat THEMED!
For those who wonder, especially my friends who reading this crappy blog, Lim lala is a huge fans for cat, obsessed, addicted.
He went berserk when he saw so many cat based merchandise |
Bunch of paper carton made stuff |
Pig - Oink! |
Here sells tons of unique carton made merchandise, from pen, to notebook, to bag, to chair, to lamp, to some really funky stuff. Price ain't cheap thou.
After examining the Carton King(纸箱王), we head to the Small Swiss Garden.
There's an entry payment for this, I think is around NTD200 or something.
The sign is at the back of the garden, which is weird |
Nothing much to say about the Small Swiss Garden thou, we came in the wrong season, where the flowers didn't blossom to the fullest. However, the environment is still beautiful, inside there's an area for resting, we had a cup of juice or coffee and take our time relaxing and enjoying the smell of flowers and the cool weather.
Then our local tour guide bring us to a nearby restaurant which is nearby to our hotel. This restaurant is famous according to him. Time to recharge after some intense literary of walking and climbing. Is FEAST TIME!
Not this cat! I don't want PETA chase on me.
This cat just chillin, she was like don't even bother at me for getting this close |
Stove that used to smoke the chicken, their signature dish. |
Asparagus again! :) |
Stir fried cabbage |
More green |
Fried egg |
Salted fried shrimp, very tasty and savoury which awesome combination for beer |
Mix vege with mushroom |
Mushroom |
Very delicious soup which taste sweet and salty |
River Fish - highly recommended by the tour guide. For us, we used to seafood, thus this taste weird. Malaysia's seafood best! |
The main course for the dinner! Roasted Chicken!
Well spiced, and the little bowl is the chicken stalk dripping down when the chicken is roasted. |
Awesome spiced and marinated and well timed roasted chicken which crispy skins, and the meat is so tender that we just use hand can separate the chicken. The bone is already soft enough to break. PLUS mark when dipped with the chicken stalk. Also a great combination when mixed with rice, never drink it as it is very salty.
We had some beer, chit chat, then head to our spring hotel.
Again we got the largest room |
Spring water flow from the spring into the pipe directed to our room |
18x |
After some relaxing bath in the spring, we settled our stuff then sleep like a pig. A very sounded pig! No kidding.
